Veterinarian
Dr. Mark Wallar, fondly known as Woody, graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1979 and has been a pillar of the veterinary community in Ottawa ever since. With decades of experience in general practice, he has a special interest in critical and emergency care as well as surgery. A dedicated mentor to many, Woody joined Stittsville Small Animal Clinic in 2022, continuing his legacy of compassionate care.
When he's not at the clinic, Woody stays active by playing hockey and camping. He lives in Ottawa with his wife Jocelyn, their three children—Matthew, Kathryn, and Joseph—and their beloved cat, Laser.
